There is nothing worse then a dumbass who thinks he knows what my program
does. You sound like that troll kwatu who has the nerve to say that my
program does not work on windows 2000. You don't see posts by people saying
Spyerase does not work like you do with Superantispyware and Multi_Avi. Mine
works. Put up or shut up fool now prove me wrong.

    1) You didn't write it - it's not "Yours"
    2) It does not check the file before deleting - it only deletes files based
on their name. There is nothing to stop the script from deleting files
that are legitimate but are named the same as a malware file.
    3) You are a thieving POS that should not be allowed to own a computer.

I have tested your batch file (SpyErase) and if you simply rename
files, folders and/or registry keys with known spyware names they are
deleted. You should add a quarantine ability to your software - just
modify the batch file to copy the files to a folder on the root - that
way if the wrong items are deleted it won't destroy a user's system as
they can copy the files back to their proper locations.

Every product has it's flaws, including my software. The idea is that
if you can undo any changes made to the system - the user is always
protected and can restore back to the state before the software was
    run.

If you would like me to do an official documented test - send me the
new file and password and I will be more than happy to provide you a
fully documented test suite where you, and others, can see what happens
if you rename good files with "known bad" spyware sample names.

I am not attacking you here - you should be under the same scrutiny
that my and other's software is subjected to so users know what they
    are getting themselves into.

Not that I recall, OR I configured it to not do so; I've tried so many
"fixes" I'm getting them jumbled now! I can say that superantispyware
    didn't do it either FYI . . .

I would if I could, but I cannot get the offending files to reveal
themselves no matter what I do; all I get to see is the fact that
secure32.html keeps being set as the default IE page. HJT sees it & allows
me to "fix" it, but a rescan immediately after doing so shows it right back.
Doing everything in safe mode as administrator brings brief relief, but as
soon as you reboot it's right back. A real bugger, this. I think I'll just
    reformat/reload . . .

You have a copy of the program name 1 file in there that is a valid windows
file in the proper location? Come on troll I'm waiting. There are no false
positives in Spyerase. The file names are not even put in if they are
    legitimate.

    Lisa,

No need to format yet. Try Nick's suggestion first about submitting a log
    file.

    Never follow pcbutts advice.

If you use any of the pirated downloads that Butts claims are his,
you'll likely end up with a useless PC and you'll have to do a
    reformat and reinstall.

*Never* use any programs or utilities from any site but the
originator's - and PCButts is *not* the originator of any of the
programs he suggests, despite his claims to the contrary.

Follow Nick's advice as he will be able to sort out the problem since
he is the originator of SUPERAntiSpyware.
