    I had a hard bed cover on mine for a while. it was too mcuh of a pain to laod stuff in the back of my truck with a forklift tho..

    Yup...I like my topper though...better aerodynamics, I can keep stuff in the back w/o it getting trashed....and it makes a good tent...

    the weight of the topper takes too mcuh out of the load of my truck.

    I actually do load my 1/2 ton truck to a 1000 pounds or so.

    come on now...that's nothing...and my topper only wieghs like 300 lbs or so...probably not even..
