Almost always happens to me. Gave up worrying about it eons ago. It seems
Ad-Aware either downloads and loses the file or downloads and installs the
file and reports the old version so downloads the file again on command (and
again and again...). Either way, multipy this by the percentage of Ad-Aware
users out there who face the problem and you come up with a huge waste of
bandwidth. I have the problems pigeon-holed as bad programming. Ditto all
the Spybot 'bad checksum' problems. Other programs seem to handle updates
better.
