****ing Spybot

Spybot is a good program but their user interface sucks. They never
make it clear just what the user is supposed to do. I wanted to
remove all the backups of spyware it found on my computer, I clicked
on RESTORE, then selected all of them, and chose Remove them.
Instead it restored all of them. What the ****?????

I just scanned again, removed all of them and this time I went to the
place they store these backups and removed them manually. I never
understood why they save this crap anyhow. Why am I wasting harddrive
space for useless ****.

Spybot needs to make their program easier to use, and skip the
deceptive things it seems notorious for. As far as removing these
items, it DEFINATELY said REMOVE these entries, (I double checked),
yet it went and restored them. This is a definate program error.
I am using version 1.4. (which I now know is buggy).

Maybe it's time to get your eyes checked. The correct selection to
remove the items is "Purge selected items" not "RECOVER...".

If you're *that* dissatisfied you should probably ask for your money
back and quit using the program. I, personally, have never had any
problems using SBS&D and think it's worth paying for... if it wasn't
already free.

I will see if they will refund my money, I just wonder if it's legal
to make a check out for $0......

Spybot, One of the best programs I have used, I wish people would show their
apreciation by donating a little cash, and not complain, when they can't
read directions.

The rest of your sentiments I fully agree with.

The most ridiculous thing is, this program is free; even if you choose
to donate, it is through choice out of appreciation. Anyone who dares to
complain is seriously lacking substance in their lives.

Any danger that you could string a few words together without swearing
? ( expecting a string of F words in your reply of course - if you

They could call it net-tourets. But I still don't see why people think
swearing is an adult act. I remember being at school and being dared to
swear it made me feel so grown up to so. However once I was 18 I
thought how uneducated, and lacking in vocabulary, it made me seem.
Its a bit like the TV programs that interview Joe public and he keeps
saying "you know" every 3 words or so, it makes him look stupid but,
hey if swearing is your thing fill your boots.
