Another kudo for SAS

[Rube Bumpkin]

I've made positive comments about SuperAntiSpyware in the past. My
daughter (19, honors student in engineering) is home from school for a
week. We were just talking about about downloads and spyware. I
mentioned SAS, and she said I had already told her about it, and she
loves it. She, like her dad, runs AdAware and Spybot as well as SAS. She
says that while she's learned the quirks of the other two, she finds SAS
much easier to use and at least as effective as the other two put
together. She recommends it to her friends at school. The school
provides some sort of antispyware protection, in addition to NAV, but
she still finds SAS to be very useful.

I appreciate the compliments! Ask your daughter to have her school get
in contact with us, we do provide site distribution solutions for
educational facilities. We have many schools distributing our product
to their students.

I am looking at the website but I would like to know what the difference is
between the free version and the pro version.

I do not tend to actively 'sell' software to my customers, as most of the
best stuff out there is free anyway. Superantispyware though, is tempting. I
find that unless the updates and the daily scans are automated to start,
without user intervention, neither will get done by average users.

As a fire fighting tool, i have no doubt that superantispyware is an
excellent product, what experience do people have with its resident
scanning, and its reliability in regards to auto scanning system files??

A question for Nick, if we install the 'free trial professional' with the
fifteen day fully function, at the end of the fifteen days does the customer
have the option to move to the free version and the option to buy?? Or, is
it the option to buy and the option to uninstall?

Gaz - at the end of the trial of the Professional they must either
purchase or uninstall. If you install the Free Edition, it will work
without expiring and the user can upgrade if they wish to have the
real-time and scheduling options. It sounds like the Free Edition would
be the way to go for your customers, and they can make the choice to
upgrade the Free Edition if they so choose.

I installed the free edition. It will not run and attempts to remove
the file are futile. I regret downloading this "program". BitDefender
indicates it is a trojan.

SUPERAntiSpyware is not a trojan - BitDefender is incorrectly detecting
our software - they seem to be prone to several "classes" of false
positives. What do you mean "it won't run"? Was there an error? Or was
BitDefender blocking it from running?

BitDefender was turned off for the installation. Can not remember
original message and I didn't take notes. I'm trying my best to rid my
computer of this "program". If all else fails I'll remove the HD and
take it to the Geeks for removal.

Based upon that response, please take your computer to a qualified, certified and reputable
service center. Have them clean you computer of malware and very the correct operation of
your computer and install anti virus and anti spyware software.
