Anti Virus software

Any recommendations? I have a 3 year old Dell with 512 mb of ram and a 2.66
GHz processor. PC-chillin was recommended to me but it requires 128MB of
RAM. I had Norton anti-virus but it caused all sorts of problems with my
computer so I had to delete it. Any anti-virus soft ware recommendations
will be appreciated.

What is wrong with it requiring 128 meg? You are well above that. It doesn't
lock out that memory, it is shared with the other programs.... I use the
free AVG and it works great..

Even though your nomenclataure is wrong, I suspect that "512 mb of ram" really is 512MB of
RAM and that is *MORE* than the 128MB that is the requirement of PC-Cillin. Additionally,
you left out the most impoartnt aspect. What's the Operating System on this Dell PC with a
2.6GHz CPU with 512MB RAM ?

that's what it says on their web****e as well.

Required Memory:

* 128MB RAM minimum (256MB recommended)

Might just be a guideline for compatability, it doesn't mean it will be
using all that memory.
