    Yes, lots of businesses in Canada do things the American way but if you go
    to any Canadian government organization you will find they use the UK
    format. I'm all for international standardization myself. Force the
    Americans to get with the times and go metric, bunch of luddites.

    In aviation they use feet for altitude and knots for speed. WTF is up with
    that malarky? Wouldn't it just be less confusing to use metric for
    everything?
