I would surmise that Lavasoft no longer target this pest?
Best bet - ask the folks at the Lavasoft Forum.

Hmmm, I see what you are saying. Best guess is that you downloaded it
from a different country than I did. Date formats vary widely.

I use mo/day/year......but then I am Canadian. I think the US does it
backwards. (day/month/year). On the other hand, it could be ME who is
    doing it backwards.

However, if everyone followed the way we do it in genealogy, there would
be no problems at all, grin. Today is "10 NOV 2006" .. simple and no
    confusion.

    Cheers...Heather

Nah, it's the Poms who do the day/month/year format. Merkins primarily
use the month/day/year format like you Canuks. The Wet Backs use the
    M/D/Y format too, IIRC.

Where there is a problem with an update, false positives or whatever,
Lavasoft have taken to re-issuing the update but with a new date.

Location isn't a factor in the date AFAIK.

funny thing - i've recently had to deal with region settings in windows
specifically related to dates and apparently microsoft says that
americans use month/day/year while canadians use day/month/year...

Yes, you are doing it backwards. In Canada we use the same as the UK,
day/month/year. The silly Americans always do things with no logic and just
do it to be different, you are using the American format. The international
standard is year/month/day which is what we should all be forced to use so
    people don't get confused.

OK, so I am backwards.......won't be the first time, lol. I am also
ambidextrous, which is a good thing. I read your ISO thingie and it is
too confusing, so I will continue to write out the month if needed.

Did you not realize that all of our Canadian newspapers and magazines
have to use American spelling?? (no 'u' in colour, etc)......perhaps we
are using their date format as well.
