axctually on both the beta defs computer and another computer using nonbeta defs, spybot marks:

Hour 7 Working with Color Gradients
http://web.archive.org/web/200503150...4h/ch07-05.htm

spybot is consistent. it finds this in opera, fierfox, and ie favorites.

on the beta defs computer:
i had tried foxmail 6beta4 brefily on this computer. fm6(b4) didn't work right, so i uninstalled fm6, then installed tbird. but before
uninstalling fm6, i wish i'd had the the attention so spare to look at the registry key spybot has been giving checkmark.

CnsMin: Global settings (Registry key, nothing done)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\3721

Tencent: Settings (Registry key, nothing done)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tencent

both are currently empty.
however these keys may have always been empty, because spybot shows these results the same as shown before i uninstalled
fm6.

i think i maybe twice casually searched safer-networking, et. for the Gradient finds info since they first showed in spybot finds
last year. i haven't tried search for foxmail info, espec since i've already uninstalled, and research before install suggested
foxmail is good stuff.

i suspect both are false positives.

i'd post on safer networking forum, but i haven't got round to registering ... it's *another* forum (maybe i will someday...) :-(
