AVG 7.5 Beta supported W98. See:

I haven't found a confirmation that the post beta full system supports
W98, but I think it is reasonable to assume that it does.
I am using it with W98SE.

what version are you running?

I just tried to install AVG anti-spyware (7.5.0.50) but it refused to
install saying Win 2K and XP only!
