The most common source of those is java script. disable it, or better,
ditch IE and use mozillla or Opera and those have popup disable options.
There are also 3rd party popup=blockers to use with IE.

I louge corrected...To be honest I never looked at the BMPs, they are not
displayed in my reader. I just ASSumed that was a dead issue, but I should
know better from those daily calls from MIL.
