Try 'Tab Mix Plus' from a reputable Mozilla add-on site near you. I have
    had the 'x' for ever.

I downloaded IE7 and tried it-fair but kept giving me a DNS error on a site
that was okay in IE6. Then I tried Firefox 2.0 RC# and that was much, much
better. Getting bold I tried Thunderbird but it would only import *one* of
many, many folders in OE6. Sigh. Good thing I made a restore point before
starting to play with the Mozilla stuff, now I'm back to IE7 and OE6 :-(

I'm presently running tabbrowser preferences and click2tab.

I like the x on the tabs in tab mix plus. If I run Tab mix
plus, do I need tabbrowser preferences and/or click2tab?

    Thanks.

Stick with Firefox. Version 2 should be released next week.

I encountered some minor, but annoying glitches with the final version
of IE 7. Oddly enough, I didn't have any problems at all with IE 7RC1.
