Spybot keeps finding same cookie trackers

I'm running Spybot ver 1.4 on a WinXP machine.

I run Spybot and it finds:

    AdRemover
    Statcounter
    Zedo

I have it delete them and run it again and it doesn't find anything.

The next day I run it and it finds the same cookie trackers. Does
anyone know what site I might be visiting that keeps giving me those
cookies? Are they hidden in some program that keeps putting them
back? Is there a way to "forever remove them"? I am not visiting any
sites I haven't before or any new newsgroups.

    Thanks

Henry - those cookies are used by just about any site that serves ads -
which is just about every site on net

Cookies are harmless, here is a blog reference for reading if you are
    interested:

The cookies are nothing to worry about.

As Nick said, they are harmless, other than following you around the web
serving you specific ads based on the sites you visit. They aren't
malicious, and this is nothing new.

That said, use your browser's cookie manager to block them forever. Look
in your Preferences, under Privacy & Security. Set it once and never see
    them again.

BTW, you are several versions behind. The latest Mozilla suite is now
    called SeaMonkey. http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/

I once tried setting my browser to ask before setting a cookie. That
little experiment lasted for about 3 days. Sometimes you just have to
accept the fact you can't win and like the man said, they do no harm and
some are too useful to turn off completley.

Doesn't your browser allow you to accept them temporarily, but delete when
the browser is closed? And preferably to only accept cookies from the
    originating site too.

If it doesn't, I suggest you change your browser now. Either Firefox or
    Opera are fine.
