Updating AdAware Problem

[gardenlen]

g'day jim & fred,

even though mg shows they ahve update file # se1r125 05.10.2006

all that actually downloads is file # se1r124 19.09.2006

tried many times but simply can't access the download trhough ad-aware
site, can't even link to ad-aware from the link on the mg page.

any tricks or help please

Update via the app failed for me as well, then I waited about 15 minutes
and tried again. This time it worked. SE1R125 05.10.2006

Must be the only one, mine just sits at 5 seconds <retreiving update>
then dies after a few minutes.

This has happened before. Just too many people trying to access the server.
It can only service so many requests at a time. Wait a while or till
tomorrow and it will work fine....

I managed to get a download from their web page. Despite the lists of
updated items, it was in fact the old 19 September refs. Did a binary
file compare, just to verify.
