I like to ban ad spammers

dude!!!!!! this is so much fun, it seams like everyday there's one or two ad spammers to ****can. I've banned five or six already!

They sure are showing up here in droves! I would like to know why we lose a database but suddenly we are getting spammers "out the whazoo"? We didn't have that much traffic when everything was up and running!

They do concern me some too. I am afraid somebody will drop by for the first time ever, see the nasty spammer posts(before one of us can delete it) and click a link in one of them...One of those that have been deleted contained a link, which when clicked, took you to a website where you then ended up with spyquake adware and the trojan zlob. I had seen it on another forum, otherwise I wouldn't have known it.

I definitely see your point jholland. I think I spend more time on here, at least since the DB crash, than anyone else...there isn't much I can do to remove them...PLUS, I really don't have a way to get ahold of anyone, in a short amount of time, to get rid of it...but at least it's not COMPLETELY covering the boards...

I am trying to stay connected here as much as possible...but...wonder how long we can be here without anything really to do. Think it would help if we could put back PP's ATTENTION..etc...post. At least folks would see we will work on removals and cleanups it they need the help.

That's definitely true....blank made a BIG boo boo by not having an external backup....maybe he can use archive sites and put some of it back...??

What bothers me about the database loss is the new people will show up and not see very many posts so they wont try to get an answer and go elsewhere...
