You really need to do something about that sig delimeter, Dust****.

As for smearing, Mr. "I-used-to-be-Raid-the-virus-writer," this is just
like your accusations of rampant trolling: first you trolled yourself
into believing things that never happened, and now you're engaged in a
campaign of destroying what little is left of the reputation you were
trying to build as one of the "good guys."

I can change my phone number, my fax number and even my address. And
soon enough, I will do all three. But the damage you have done to
    yourself is permanent.

    Good job. Well done. Congratulations.

Yes, he does. He displays classic abusive, angry and controlling behaviour.
He lives with his mother or grandmother and can't hold down a relationship
with a real woman because none of them are as good as his mother or
grandmother. Sooner or later, the woman-abusing Dustin Cook (the real Dustin
Cook) pops out its cloven hoof and the women are off like startled gazelles.

I made an overture of friendship to Dustin in May. It was not until June
that I learned about last year's misadventures, right about the same
time that Dustin went back to aow-xp looking for more trouble.

As soon as I saw my conflict, I explained it to both Dustin and
KMonster. KMonster, of course, shrugged and said, "It's only usenet."
    Dustin...worked himself into...I don't know what to call it...and
shortly thereafter, he announced the end of our correspondence to acv,
something of which acv had never been aware until his announcement that
    it was over.

In response to one or another post wondering what the **** *that* was
all about, I wrote, "He thinks I'm a slut," because he had made it
pretty clear to me in our last few emails prior to his announcement that
he thought it of me. His basis for that, I believe, stemmed from some
fun KMonster and I had in auk over the July 4 weekend.

It just escalated from there. I believe I hurt him when I wrote that it
was probably just as well, because I felt like I was walking a
tightrope. He took it very personally, and his response was assert
outright that I am a slut, to wish me dead and to speculate that I
intended to either share or post his emails.

Because I responded to his rants, things escalated wildly, until he
finally felt compelled to post my address, phone and fax numbers.

If you really want to read about it, I have the all the links.

I must say that I believe Dustin would not have posted my personal
information had he not trolled himself into believing the whole thing
was a setup from the word "go." But even if it were true, which it is
not, there's no excuse for what he did.

    > Does he have issues with women or something?

KMonster has addressed this at length. The answer appears to be yes.

It was interesting to watch. I have seen psychotic breaks in progress,
but I have never actually watched anyone talk himself right out of
reality and into a paranoid delusion.

    It was...weird.

    One of his...um...acquaintances postulated the same, but I'm 48, he's 28
and I don't think he was interested in me in that way.

Then again, not much of what happened makes any sense, so who can say?

    Dear Nick,

Does it look to you like I started this thread? Or, for that matter, any
of these threads that relate to Dustin?

If you want it to end, talk to Dustin, not me. I don't name threads
after him, and I haven't put the safety of his family in danger by
posting his address to alt.sex, inviting the world to stop by. Also, I
did not stalk him to this group and stay to spam.

The point is, I have no interest in your complaint, and for your lack of
discernment and your support of outer filth, you can go **** yourself.
