yes, i would classify them as trojans too... but to be more specific i
would call them adware trojans...

i'm just making a distinction between the more benign ad-displaying
software and the stuff that security tools go after... for example, a
lot of people were uncomfortable calling earlier free versions of the
opera browser 'adware' even though it was ad supported...
