Isn't it great when people ask for advice, you give excellent advice and
explain what may happen if the advice is not taken, and they take no
notice. Why they bother asking in the first place ?

I asked what it was and how I could get rib of it. Then I deleted it before
anyone posted about it. You all took too long to answer.

Yeah, I guess 19 mins is a long time - and they (whoever they are)
reckon women are more patient than men!!

At least you gave some information - better than the "I've got a
problem with my computer, how do I fix it" type post where the group's
expected to get their crystal balls out to discover the nature of the
"problem". The guys have to be careful, y'know. Crystal balls are
    fragile!!

yes but look what the reply was. She asked...

    >> what if I just delete it? How much of a problem would that be?

and the first answer seems to be..

    >Sure, go ahead

I think it is a case of timing. It is hard to differentiate good advice from not especially
if this area is not area of expertise for you. I can't blame Samantha for the mistake --
    sh!t happens.
