    ZeroSpyware Lite

What is your opinion about this software?
It is not supposed to be rogue.

    ZDNet review:
"User reviews of Zero Spyware Lite

Easy to use, fast, not as effective as other free programs
    Reviewer: rebekahmichel
Pros: It is free, the other reviewer is wrong, it removed the trackers it
found for me just fine. It's simple to use and looks nice
If this is the only spyware program you plan on using it would probably be
    great.

Cons: Doesn't allow you to minimize during scan.
I ran adaware, search & destroy, microsoft spy, spydoctor, and spysubtract
first. Still having problems with loading-website/redzip spyware. Ran
ZeroSpyware Lite and it didn't catch that spyware, only caught 5 cookie
trackers(one from zdnet! LOL) If you already have multiple spyware cleaning
programs I wouldn't bother downloading it. It's not catching anything the
    others missed for me. "

    I'd give it a miss.

    Our friend Eric L. Howes:

"Note on ZeroSpyware: ZeroSpyware was listed on this page
because of concerns with false positives and the nature of
its detections and scan reporting (1, 2). In early September
2004, a new version of ZeroSpyware was released. Testing with
this new version indicates not only that the problems with
earlier versions have been satisfactorily resolved, but that
the application does provide usable anti-spyware protection.
Thus, we can no longer consider ZeroSpyware to be
    "rogue/suspect" anti-spyware."

yes,.. have read that also. Found the link on spywarewarrior, but I
still have doubts if it is (yes/no) rogue. I don't feel comfortabvle
with it... but that is purely subjective & fingerspitzengefuhl.
