ISPs can't tell the difference between people who use remailers
responsibly and those who abuse them.

Your complaint should be directed to the fools who run remailers with the
idea that free speech should be unlimited. They are the ones who have
    brought these restrictions about.

    | um, WHY should free speech NOT be unlimited?!?!?!?
    |
    | if it is not unlimited, even for the bad guys, then there is a leash on freedom of
    | expression. you need TOTAL freedom of speech for everyone unless you someday want it to
    | be YOU who is silenced wrongfully or even killed for saying something that some secret
    | police government agency (like homeland security) does not like expressed.
    |
    | btw.. homeland security in usa is no different than nazi 'ss' was back in the 30's.. usa
    | is on the same road as nazi germany was.
    |
    | and they are makeing the same mistakes.
    |

With blatently skewed and false statements such as that I understand WHY you want
    annonymity.

Call me when there is a Krystalnacht in NYC !

    | actually, I have absolute freedom of speech, and I use it frequently. and your govt
    | spooks will NEVER trace it to me... freenet (http://freenetproject.org) gives me total
    | anonyimty and 100% plausible deniability
    |

Actually that is an assumption you should not make. If the Gov't. "truly" weanted to target
you then they caould easily trace it back to you Proxy service, email 2 news service or
other. It is a matter of how bad does a given gov't. entity desire to find someone.

The *only* anonymity it provides is to the avg. 'net citizen.
