I'm an older person and I don't find it too difficult to pick up
techie stuff - *if I want to*.

However, (and ignoring FC's abusive response) sub to
uk.people.silversurfers. They aren't all older people in there, nor
are they all based in the UK but you will get a lot of techie help in
there in terms you can understand. If you don't understand, they
don't mind you asking again, nor do they mind if you ask for
clarification on something. UPS is a very sociable group and you
won't get abused or thought stupid or flamed. There are several
techie people there some of them long time computer users, some of
them professional techies, not all of them are of silversurfer age.

Annette sounds like my mother. "I keep forgetting and can't learn new
things because I'm old. You'll understand when you get older".

Problem is, she's been using that excuse from the time she reached the
ripe old age of 30!
