What, you mean we are supposed to know without you mentioning what the
    filenames are?
Do you think everybody here is a mind reader?

    Most probably if

    MONITOR2.INF
    MONITOR3.INF
    :
    MONITOR7.INF

they are setup scripts for differnt types of display monitors you might
have. Details on pixel dimensions, refresh rates etc.

Monitor.exe and other assorted such files on mine are from the UPS
monitor, which shuts down the machine after xx minutes of being
battery powered when the AC goes out.

She appears to be using the tried and true, 'I'm a vulnerable,
innocent, sensitive, harmless female' role to the hilt, IMHO.

Plenty of male suckers fall for it all the time.

I can understand her curiosity at finding something new and alarming
on her computer, and with her apparent level of knowledge, asking here
is probably the best bet to find out. There are a lot of knowledgeable
    people here.

I can also understand if she feels she'll get better results by
relying on feminine wiles. In this case, it might help if she'd define
bumph, or maybe it's a common description that I'm not familiar with.

In any case, if she does get her tits out and if she emails me some
pictures of them I'll be happy to help her to the extent of my
ability. Hell, I might even do it anyway.

O.K group I can use a computer, but as you obviously see I do not know of
their workings.I am not young, and like most older people tend not to pick
up all this techno stuff as easily as some of you.
I ask questions, to try to help me understand a little bit.
I apologise for offending all you wizards

I see that (age, older person) as an excuse often, and I don't
understand it. I might have to ask my granddaughter what it means.

Why can't older people understand "techno stuff"? My 85 year old
mother has no problem using her computer, her _first_ computer, that I
bought her as an 80th birthday present.
