    Spybot SD won't open!

Recently I discovered that when I try to open Spybot SD it won't open; well
apparently the program is running but it isn't visible. I ran AdAware
instead and it located one suspicious registry key for Microsoft Office XP,
I removed this registry key but am still unable to use Spybot. Does anyone
know what might be causing this, could another program be preventing Spybot
    from running properly?

    Steven

If your problem is that Spybot S&D minimizes on the task bar and will
not open up from that position, then right click on the shortcut, click
Properties and in the shortcut tab set "run" to "Maximize." This should
probably be done with the program closed. I hope this is of help to
    you.

I have the problem also but I learned if I just abort and try again
(sometimes 3 or 4 times) it then runs on the screen.
