    Could you please explain what in particular doesn't work? Or is it just the
    comments being stripped as we discussed recently?

    Hi Robin,

    I guess I was belaboring the point but yes, HOSTESS will strip the
    *all important* and newly added searchable comments if the HOSTS
    Editor is used.

    There are new comments section which cross-reference several URL's
    including Andrew Clover's Doxdesk information.

    When any HOSTS file is imported with HOSTESS it does not erase the old
    import file so if the user wanted to search on some comment they can go to
    the original file.
