adaware vs spybot

Hi all,

When I use the immunize function of spybot, I have the possibility to
lock the ie control panel against editing from ie and local user.

When I afterwards run ad-aware it finds two regkeys infected. These two
keys are the lower 2 ones from the immunize function of spybot.

I had seen the flags went of for those 2 options (immunize), but I
couldnt find out what caused it. Now I know the reason.

It is not very harmfull, but I think it´s good to know.

By the way, this is all ad-aware found on my PC for the last 7 or 8
months. I wonder wether I should keep ad-aware running. I have the
freeware version.

any comments?

And it's all too easy to forget, or overlook, that this has been done,
when you can't access Tools/Internet Options in IE......

Keep both, update both regularly, and use both regularly.

Both free, and very good in their different ways, what have you to lose?
