    What is the difference bitween Intel Centrino Core Duo and Core Solo?

    Hello everybody ,i want to buy a laptop but i couldt decide if i should buy Intel® Core™ Duo or Intel® Core™ Solo . can anybody enlight me what is exactly the difference bitween these two processors. please forgive my negligence but someone told me that Intel® Core™ Solo is something like Celeron and Intel® Core™ Duo is something like Pentium ? of course it is a roughly explanation . please inform me . thanks in advance

    Core Solo is a single-core processor and the Core Duo is a dual-core processor. Here's one of many articles on the subject:
