My Internet Explorer 6 has been acting up. It keeps becoming the
inactive window. The computer is a Dell Latitude running Windows 2000
Pro. Sometimes a new window pops up with ads, most of the time it just
becomes inactive and nothing else happens. Sometimes the window that
pops up is xzoomy. I did a search on removing xzoomy; but there is no
mention of xzoomy in my registry. I installed ad-aware couple days
after IE acted up, it removed a bunch of things. Today I noticed a
bunch of suspicious programs in my c:\ directory so I removed those as
well, but the IE still unfixed. Also something else I noticed, don't
know if it's related, I have problems typing inside a text box in
Explorer (like typing inside this google group box). All the sudden it
seems like the Windows key or Alt key is stuck on.

When I'm connected at work (behind corporate proxy server) there
doesn't seem to be as many problems. But at home the problem is
frequent. Someone please help! Thanks
