    Spam Filter on Mail Server

    To All:

I have been using the freeware SpamPal http://www.spampal.org/ for about 6
months now and it does an excellent job of catching spam and putting it in a
specific folder under Outlook Express AFTER it is downloaded.

Is there another spam filtering product either freeware, shareware or
payware that will ID spam on my mail server and delete it on the mail server
so that it is NOT downloaded.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Yes, try Spam Weasel
    http://www.mailgate.com/products/spamweas/sw_feat.asp

I use the free version and it is superb.

    I think you're looking for Mailwasher, www.firetrust.com

You'll probably want to modify the DNS reverse-lookup blocklists
it uses because of recent and some not-so-recent shutdowns.

Decent program, friendly yet configurable for most of the stuff
    that counts.
