I see nothing of the kind. I see a lot of old news, re-packaged to scare
people. What you refuse to understand is that you never have to let any
application connect to Microsoft or anywhere else. I have Media Player 9
and it has never connected to the net, MS or anywhere. Same with the help
center and various services. When you make a statement like, "WinXP
requires contact with Microsoft to keep functioning", you show total
ignorance of the subject. But, people believe what they want, whether about
religion, politics, or XP. I'll say no more.
