HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!!! is this Spyware(Ebates)??????

help PLEASE.....I'm not sure what I did but all of a sudden...Whenever
I start-up my comp. I get the following message.."Java virtual machine
launcher... Could not find the main class. Program will exit....
Then under remove programs in XP . I find "web savings from
Ebates" I try to remove and the same thing pops up and i cant
remove.....Any help would be GREAT...PLEASE

Sounds like a piece of spyware that failed to install properly, hense the
error message at startup. Install a spyware/adware search and removal
software such as Adaware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ or
http://www.lavasoft.de/default.shtml.en or Spybot S&D
http://www.safer-networking.org/ or other similar products.

I suspect that the the real spyware behind the "web savings from Ebates"
keeps on reinstalling.

I haven't had that problem before with ebates, but I don't use them
anymore simply because of the possibility of spyware. Can't stand
downloading something to save me money. If it helps, go to
http://www.rebatedonate.com
Their rebates are much higher and there is nothing to download.
