For the first time in a long time, I ran spybot on my computer and it
found virtually nothing, except lots of instances of things related to
backweb.

Some quick research showed that this is because I have Kodak's Easyshare
SW updater on my computer.

I am essentially comfortable that, used for Easyshare only, this is a
benign instance of backweb. But are there any selective fixes that I
can have Spybot do that will disable other capabilities of backweb,
allowing only the Easyshare updates?
