    Thanks. My regular email account gets no spam and is text only.

    What I think would be cool is something that shows clear GIFs in the
    browser to see which sites are trying to track surfers.

    Using the Mozilla privacy feature that kills images from outside
    domains probably kills web bugs.

    Web Washer will kill them and you can set it up to alert you by
    substituting your own gif - but that prevents most web sites from
    loading.

    I use Privoxy for this. Proxomitron, which is windows only and is the more
    popular cousin of Privoxy, does this too.
