    Huntbar's Btiein.dll

Using Spybot S&D with current updates. It detects Huntbar but says it can't
    remove due to
some files in use (in memory). It detects Huntbar as a registry key. Have
already tried to unregister the associated .dll's through
a command prompt. Got rid of some but when it comes to the Btiein.dll file
it just says the specified module couldn't be found.
Can't delete the Btiein folder through Regedit, "error while deleting
    key".
Any program out there capable of rooting out Huntbar?

This is a quote from Huntbar removal instructions at
    http://www.pchell.com/support/huntbar.shtml

"In some cases the registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\BTIEIN has
been difficult, if not impossible to remove. In these instances change the
user account to Administrator access and try to delete it or run SpyBot
    after changing to Administrator priviledges."

Been there, done that. In fact, been to and.dox, kellys corner, etc., etc
Hoping someone had been able to delete the huntbar folder in entirety.
How about safe mode? Hmmm. May try that. Thanks anyway.

Damn - hit the wrong button before. Get yourself a copy of HijackThis and
post your log at the spywareinfo forums - it'll be cleared for you there.

Downloaded Hijackthis last night. Will run it when I get home
    and post the results. Thanks.
