Since I got my new WinXP computer a month or so ago I've had a few
mysterious boxes pop up while online. They are always ads, but I
can't figure out how they got through, especially since I've scanned
my system with Ad-Aware and it's clean. The only thing I can think
of is Windows Messenger. If this is the case, how can I turn off
this "feature?" I know it's not KazaaLite, though I get ads sent
through the chat feature as well.
I expect that it will soon become like that episode of Futurama,
where Fry learns that companies can broadcast ads into your
dreams.
