    Saving IE settings

Apparently, the settings for my IE 6.0 and NS 7.1 are too stringent and I
cannot access expedia.com. Can I somehow somewhere save the current IE
settings so I can set IE for lower security and let expedia do its thing,
then easily reset my current settings to what seems to work fine for me?

    Using a Linksys router
    NAV 2002
    Ad-watch
    pop-up stopper
    google toolbar with pop-up blocker
    ZA-free
    BOClean
    Regular Spybot and Ad-aware scans

So far I have not had any infections that I am aware of.

It seems to let you in if you allow session only cookies originating at
that site, but block all third party cookies, and any other local
cookies which are not session only.

    Cheers,

If you can find out what the settings in question are, you won't need
to relax then tighten your settings each time to use Expedia on IE.
Just put Expedia ("*.expedia.com") into the Trusted sites zone, then
relax the Trusted sites security settings appropriately.

I don't see any security precaution in your list that I don't have an
equivalent, and I can access Expedia with no problem.

Try and describe some symptoms for "I cannot access expedia.com".
What Security Settings are you running in IE (for the zone expedia is
    in right now)?

I'll have to compare my IE settings on my laptop and desktop more. Right
now the laptop cxan access Expedia, the desktop cannot, despite me un-
immunizing in Spybot. More later ...

I've given up. I'll use the laptop for Expedia if I really need it.
Otherwise, Travelocity and other sites will supply my travel needs.

another option would be to download another browser. one thats not just
an ie shell or related to ns (IIRC in netscape version 6, the changing
the settings on mozilla affected my ns settings...dont know about the
updated stuff). anyway, i had a similar problem with another website. i
downloaded Opera specifically for tv guide website. it works very well.
just an idea if you plan to travel alot and use expedia a lot.
