    Odd annoyance

This isn't major, just an annoyance. Everytime I let my Grandson's play Bob the Builder on my computer when they are finished all my highlights, for instance highlighting a sentence, etc., are in GREEN, they usually are in blue.(see attached) The computer works fine otherwise and I have no trouble viewing anythng but this is annoying. Anybody know what setting this game must change to cause this? I know the kids don't change anything, I am sitting here with them when they play.

My display driver is up to date by the way. Just checked.

Check Control Panel/Display/Appearance/Advanced/Item/Selected Items. My highlight is always black with the type set to change to off-white.

Click the Radio button next to 'DeskTop' and look at 'Selected Items'; that's your setting for highlights.

Lordy, I am as blind as a bat! As soon as I posted I saw it. Thanks! Any reason these would change anytime this game is played, which it does?

It's possible that the game is making a temporary Registry change so that the game displays properly...

I know a lot of the kids games that my sisters play are set to 256 colors...don't know why though...and with some I have to reset the display settings from 640x480x256 colors to the 800x600x16bit that's normally used...

I never notice any color setting change except that Selected Items change. All other settings remain the same.

It's most likely a Registry change of some kind, trust me......
