To All:
Recently, on 2 occasions, NAV has found Trojans in a subdir under my
jpi_cache:
C:\Documents and Settings\My_account\.jpi_cache\jar\1.0
I let NAV quarantine the Trojans which where then moved to NAV's quarantine
dir. From my review of the dir and the zip files in the dir, it appears to
just to be a cache of downloaded files from visited websites so:
1) What exactly is the jpi_cache?
2) Are these cache files actually necessary and can they just be deleted?
3) If these files can be deleted, is there a tool to do this as I can "Clear
Cache" in Mozilla under "Cache Options" or "Delete Files" under "Temporary
Internet Files" in IE?
I am running WinXP and using Mozilla 1.4.1 (primary) and IE 6.0 with the
latest SP1 and security patches.
Thanks,
Steve
