    There's a public and Beta update due out any day.

    If you want to detect the Beta releases, you need to set SpyBot to read those on web
    update - the Beta do false-flag though.

    Thanks for the reply. I know about downloading bete releases. I'll wait 'til
    the bugs are worked out. I wonder how many of those who download the beta
    files are really testing for possible problems. I hope all, but I doubt it.

    What difference does that make? The more a beta version is used, the
    better chance there is of bugs being found, whatever the motivation of
    the users.

    I've been using 1.2 beta for, I think, as long as it's been available,
    and with no problems to report. What's your problem with that?

    There appears to be no drawback to the use of beta releases of SpyBot
    software. Their betas are as good as others' final releases [grin].
