Tonight I decided to download Grokster. I went to grokster.com and saw
that I could pay $19.99 to get the adfree version (GroksterPRO). I
opted for this and downloaded the file...

I double clicked on this file and was presented only with a License
Agreement. There were no checkboxes (for optional components). I
clicked "Agree" and the intallation proceeded. I then fired up IE and I
notice the toolbar had changed and there were popups like crazy. I
can't use that computer currently. It freezes and there are so many
popups that it's unusable. Has anyone else experienced this? How do I
get rid of all that SpyWare/AdWare???
The whole situttion is incredible considering Groksters advertisement on
their website...
"No Popups, NO ads, No extra software, just choose GroksterPRO for
$19.99".
