I have had my AMD Duron 800 up to about 950 but it wasn't stable in the day time, only at night when its cooler..

I used to like the AMDs, but they run so damn hot...

My P4 hardly ever kicks the fan on and doesn't have any heat issues.
my lappy has hot spots, but the fan doesn't run on it except at startup.

See, my lappy ALWAYS runs and it's a freaking Celeron...but my AMD on this computer...The HOTTEST i've got it to, while running a game is 42*C...it runs normall about 22-25*C
