    Keylogger paranoia- need advise!

hi im in a situation where its possible a keylogger was secretly put
on my computer..possibly imbedded in a music or picture file sent to
me. there have been many strange coincidences...it would be a
keylogger that sends the info out, as no one has access to my home
computer...anyways, i d/l the trial version of anti keylogger but it
found nothing. one thing that is strange is that around the time i may
have got the keylogger(i think i know who would have sent it to me) my
computer stopped shutting down properly. its windows me- when i turn
it on, it always says iimproper shutdown etc. do you want me to check
files etc.. anyways seriously- i need some advice- i am stressed out
    from this.

And you're flailing about wildly, grasping at all manner of farfetched
scenarios, without any basis for drawing the conclusions you're jumping to.

In all probability, your woes are due to nothing more "sinister" than a
    well-known bug in Windows:
