    New Trojan?

Not sure what's up with my machine, but the spousal unit was on Ebay
the other night and may have picked up something.

I've noticed since then, when I've used Hotmail as well as our bank's
website, the on-screen chars. and the typing lags behind. Keystroke
    logging going on?

There's also a semi-constant ping going out (about every 20 secs) that
prevents my ISP from booting me off for inactivity (i.e. long emails).
Damned if I could figure out where, though, and I'm not sure if any
data is being sent out. TPF hasn't gone off.

I know SOMETHING is in there, but Ad Aware, AVG, Search & Destroy,
X-Cleaner, Hijack This, and Trojan Remover all come back empty.

Is this a new one? Any help appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Go to:
    http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
    button.
    Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location: Spyware and Hijackware Removal Support.
    http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/in...74&act=SF&f=11

Sign in, then copy and paste both files in your message.
