    Protect mysel from the RIAA

Is there any way to hide from the RIAA when using Kazaa? Like using
anonymous proxy servers? Can Kazaa be setup this way?

    | 1. Find an ISP that still accepts payment by money-order. GIve them
    | totally false user information when you apply.
    |
    | 2. Access the above ISP account using only networking available in
    | public places, e.g. hotels. Remember to pay cash for your room and
    | register under a fake name! Don't establish any patterns of hotel use!
    |
    | Might cost more in the end the end than simply purchasing the records,
    | but it will be virtually impossible for the RIAA to identify you.

TYVM Jack...Love that....but if ya get those free vacation offers in SPAM, use them, may
lessen the cost of the rooms..

And it's also fraud. Suuuuure, that's a *great* way to strike a blow for
    "ethics". <~>

    Idiot.

    | Actually Jay, it's called "being facetious" or "sarcasm."
    | Geez, where's your sense of humour? Or do you have one?
    |
    | Oh! You mean you actually think I was serious about spending $1000 in

It didn't come off that way.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do; but your post wasn't funny.

You might not have been serious; but you can safely bet that at least some
of the folks reading your post *will* take it seriously -- advocating fraud,
regardless of whether the scam-du-jour has much of a profit potential or not
-- is NEVER a laughing matter.
