    loop.com

    Running Windows XP.

This ****ty thing infested my computer. I ran AdAware (the latest one)
and removed it. But if I run a ipconfig /all in "DOS" I get this info.
    How can I change it?

My feeling is that it's C2Media/LOP but definitely a hijacker.

    Info on Lop. http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/lop.html
    http://spybot.eon.net.au/index.php?l...s/spybots-clop

    <snip>

Known lop sites include: among *many*
    [ tdmy.com ] !!!!

    What you've got here is a TCP/IP hijack -
    You could run SpyBot: http://spybot.eon.net.au/files/spybotsd_mainapp.exe
(Install reboot - this is assuming you're not running SpyBot - read faq and overview)
Use online update to get the latest reference files.
    Updater engine here: http://spybot.eon.net.au/files/spybotsd_includes.exe

If no joy - follow instructions, as follows -

    Go to:
    http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
    button.
    Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location: Spyware and Hijackware Removal Support.
    http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/in...74&act=SF&f=11

Sign in, then copy and paste both files in your message.
