    Spyware List

    Too All:

Since upgrading my ZoneAlarm (I've been using it for about 2 years), I have
suddenly been hit by several progs (all MS) asking permission to access the
internet. No new spyware shows up in Adaware 6.

For identifying and reducing unnecessary startup apps, I use the list
    provided by Packman's Portal:

    http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup...artup_full.htm

Is there a similar such list for identifying spyware apps or at least a list
that will tell me with these MS apps are and what they are doing?

    Thanks,

    Steve

PS, If you are not yet familiar with the Packman's Portal's startup list,
    it is a useful resource

is there a similar one, only for Windows 2000?
i understand that many of their services might be similar, but never the
less, i'd prefer to see the same list, but made specificly with Win2k in
    mind

    ~much respect,
    Igor

This one I really like, they *like* feedback and actually respond to their
    e-mails. http://www.answersthatwork.com/Taskl...s/tasklist.htm

You could try Merijn's startup list, different, as is most from this developer.

Found this one recently - jury still out but looks like it has potential.
