    Hi Ben,

    Go to www.SpywareInfo.com and read the latest edition of
    "SpyWareWeekly", you might find all the info you want. Then there is
    the information about the problems with "WinUpdate" and your privacy
    floating around (if you can't find it... I can point you to a saved
    copy of links to the information on our forums).

    Dick,

    The article answered my questions. I plan to go ahead and install
    SP4, but will be sure to turn off automatic updates after
    installation.
