    Well as somebody that installed Winamp 3 I can say it has no spyware.
    I went back to Winamp 2 because it uses less resourses and I could
    keep my skins for it.

    You have to remember AOL owns Winamp, so of course all the idiots have
    to vilify it cause thats the cool thing to do...

    While I agree with the above regarding AOL, I recently installed Winamp
    3. Spybot S&D found the desktop icon and removed it. Nothing else
    alerted.
