Yes, I use it and AFAIK it's quite free of spyware. I have seen no evidence
that the program phones home etc. during the several months that I've been
using it.

It's a very useful program, but as 'mto' says, you'd be silly to store
things like your credit card number on it, if there is a possibility that
anyone else with access to your system could read it. This is because the
program displays such data quite openly on-screen.
