    What did you do the scan with?
    How did you take the files out?
    What were the specific trojans/spyware that was on your system?

    Scanned with RAV antivirus, Trojan Remover, Spybot and Adaware. Found
    two unknown trojans. Got the following message on running Trojan
    Remover: The exefile\shell\open\command Registry Keys appears to have
    been modified.

    Spyware found included SearchExplorerBar, Vx2/Transponder keys,
    Lop.com and ShopNav

    Ad-aware or SpyBot should be able to kill all but Lop since variants are
    proliferating all the time.
    I suggest your run 'Hijack This' for the Lop parasite.

    Ok, I've managed to fix the problem, after someone on the TweakXP
    forum gave me a suggestion. Thanks anyway.
