| I have successfully stopped children from being able to use IM programs. But
| there are too many other places they are finding to carry on undesireable
| conversations. One of the most used now is using private game rooms. I have
| turned to key logging to monitor their activities and have tried several key
| logging utilities. My problem now is that I see my daughter in very
| suggestive conversations, agreeing to things, but since I only see one side
| of the conversation, I have no idea what she is agreeing to.
|
| Her primary chat 'tool' is Yahoo game rooms. Are there any utilities that
| will log both sides of a chat session from within one of these game rooms?

Ok, I'll go one better, instead of logging(all it does is eat up disk space and piss you
off reading it) and being suspicious, why not try you and your spouse, just set the bounds
that there is no net usage unless one of you are present and share the net trip with her,
even for that matter talk to her about it and just tell her that all is recorded.. If it
is at a game site per say, then nothing can be done other than de-install and ban it from
the machine, short of banning her from the machine..

As my parents did when I wanted to use the car, they told me to buy my own and I did and
paid for the insurance and fuel too.. Then the same could be suggested to her, no computer
unless she buys one of her own, pays for the additional phone line and ISP expences(time
for kids to learn how a few of us did, earn our way)..and be done with it..unless is for
school related use, then a time limit is set..
